Hamiltonian analysis of the 3-BF theory for a generic Lie 3-group
The complete Hamiltonian analysis of the 3-BF action for a general Lie 3-group is performed by using the Dirac procedure. It is shown that the resulting dynamic constraints eliminate all local degrees of freedom, i.e. the 3-BF theory is a topological field theory.
