General information
Organizers
10th MATHEMATICAL PHYSICS MEETING: School and Conference on Modern Mathematical Physics will be held from September 9 to 14, 2019. September 8 is arrival and September 15 is departure day. This is a jubilee of the series of international scientific school-conferences of modern mathematical physics succesfully organized by the Institute of Physics Belgrade with coorganizers and held in Serbia since 2001. Information about the previous meetings can be found here.
Topics
The programme is mainly oriented towards some recent developments in Cosmology, Gravity, Quantum Field Theory, String Theory, and Related Mathematical Methods. The topics include:
- Modern Cosmological Models
- General Relativity and Modified Gravity
- Accelerating Universe and Dark Energy
- Modern Approaches to Quantum Gravity
- Foundations of Quantum Theory and Quantum Gravity
- Conformal and String Field Theory
- Lie Theory and Symmetries in Physics
- Strings, Branes and String/M-Theory
- Noncommutative Quantum Models
- Nonperturbative Approaches
- Exact Integrable Models
- Mathematical Methods
Invited lecturers will give 2-4 lectures, starting from an introductory level which should be gradually advanced. Reports on recent developments and current research will be also presented.
Participants
The number of participants is expected to be about 100. They are usually from the region and Europe. The organizers wish to encourage the active participation of researchers from former Yugoslavia and the region, with possibility to cover their living and travel expenses depending on sponsors support. Participants who need financial support should fill in registration form before the end of March 2019.
Participation Fee
The conference fee is 200 EUR, and 100 EUR for PhD students and accompanying persons. It includes conference materials, a copy of the Proceedings, refreshments during coffee breaks and conference dinner.
Proceedings
The Proceedings of all previous meetings have been published, and we plan to publish the Proceedings of this meeting in the same form. In addition, selected papers will be published in the journal "Symmetry" as a Special Issue --- details can be found on their dedicated web site:
Participants who are interested to publish their contribution paper in this special issue should contact Guest Editor Branko Dragovich.
